The application for a doctoral college in which the LS is involved was approved by the Hans Böckler Foundation in June 2022. Professor Björn Rothstein from the Institute of German Studies at the RUB is the spokesperson of the Research Group. The interdisciplinary college is entitled "Mit Sprache." (Codetermination through Language Administration) and is awarded twelve scholarships. It pursues the overarching question of the co-determination-promoting and/or -inhibiting effects of language administrations, which are symbolic and communicative in the face of progressive social, working and digital/ technical changes in the form of (group-specific) negotiation processes are used. The LS builds on the broad earlier research on co-determination and the use of digital methods of empirical social research such as forum analysis, web crawling or topic modeling.
